app store - Give access to the AppStore in a WiFi HotSpot -


one of our hotel clients provide free wifi guests hot spot, however, there available few url access them freely (such facebook or website of hotel) , if need more access should log in.

we have developed app hotel , 1 of features if open app gives complete access hotel wifi, can navigate page want.

therefore, necessary guests can download app through appstore without being logged in hotel wifi, guest can download app , access immediately.

we have trace of url calls appstore search , downloading app , have set hot spot allow access url, however, appstore tells have no connection.

what url should need enable in our hot spot appstore work properly?

su.itunes.apple.com

itunes.apple.com

se.itunes.apple.com

apple appstore communicate using https. router in middle not know url been use client due it's encrypted.

the solution is, instead of allow url. need allow ip address.

i suggest allow connection following address. 

17.154.0.0/16 apple's class b subnet includes phobos.apple.com address(es) 23.63.98.0/23 akamai technologies cdn

please keep in mind xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/16 mean 255.255.0.0.

and equal allow ip adresss 17.154.0.0 - 17.154.255.255

also akamai content delivery service ip address various location. suggest try ping swcdn.apple.com ipaddress , allow /23 server.
