excel - Pivot table sorting by text string -


it seems silly, trying set pivot table, , doesnt seem strongest side.

the following picture demonstrates after:

... in data there currency string, seems if cant string represented in matix - in either row labels or columns labels, makes table unstructured. there way match security (row label) denominated currency ?

make pivot classic pivot, see how above person sees it. classic pivot answer of putting in text strings inside pivot. somehow aligns better.

right click on pivot --> pivot table option --> display --> check box says "classic pivot table layout".

take backup of excel copy before switch classic pivot. it's irreversible
