Martin Lawrence Galleries Beach Street San Francisco Hosts Artist and Visionary Poet, Francois Fressinier, on Saturday, October 15th from 7-9 pm
Martin Lawrence Galleries Beach Street, San Francisco, is proud to introduce internationally acclaimed artist and visionary poet, Fran?ois Fressinier, at an exhibition of his latest original paintings on Saturday, October 15th from 7-9 pm. This will be Fressinier?s premier show at Martin Lawrence Galleries since joining forces with their gallery network in 2010.
Born in Cognac, France to scholarly portrait photographer parents with an affinity for aesthetics, Fran?ois Fressinier has developed a unique enchanting style that combines captivating female figures with ancient architecture. The inspiration for his work is drawn from his admiration of masters such as Rembrandt, Van Dyke and Bonnard, as well as his love of France?s Gallo-Roman ruins and Gothic churches. The artist has stated that "Art is something you cultivate; it is alive! My joy of painting is to listen to the piece and to have a discussion with it. Each one has its own personality."
?We are very proud and excited to have been chosen to hold the very first Fressinier ?Meet the Artist? event,? states Gallery Director, Alexandra Ruhfel. Works are already selling at a very rapid rate throughout our galleries. We encourage collectors to visit us immediately to reserve their favorite works. She adds that, ?The evening of the event, Fressinier, will be on hand to speak about the inspiration for his paintings as well as personally dedicate any purchased works.?
